At Our Age
By Sky | on Friday, January 17, 2020
My wife and I had two cars, I had a 2004 Honda Pilot she had a 2017 Elantra. My wife is short and I am tall. We had to compromise. I couldn't get in and out of the Elantra and she couldn't drive the PIlot. The Tucson is the compromise, I like the design and the ease of getting in and out of the cabin. She likes the fact it fit her. An adjustable steering column makes it a great feature for those shorter people, like my wife. We need a good reliable vehicle, good on gas and at a price which we can afford. The vehicle has a lot of features for the money, far more than others in that body style Another feature we like was the warranty, 5 years or 60K miles plus 100K or 10 years on the engine and drivetrain. Since we are both retired and live very close to our store and doctors we are not worried about turbocharged engines. Great vehicle for the older generation, comfortable and quiet.… - 5.0
from diamond to crystal

We are believers in hyundai ! traded our Trouble free 2016 veloster turbo ( diamond ) on crystal ( 2019 white on black tucson night edition) awd. Grand kids always name our cars LOL! And its been awesome so far! nice looking, comfortable drive and great handling for a CUV. MPG has been getting better since new and switched to full synthetic oil ,on its first service. up to around 25 mpg combined driving.Even took it on a couple light off road jaunts to ghost towns ,and it did great. So far we love it ,with only one small complaint on wind noise from large side mirrors.on its first 5000 miles… - 3.0
No Acceleration
By Lynne | on Saturday, August 15, 2020
I had a Hyundai Sonata for 16 years and loved it, so I thought I would get another Hyundai for the great reliability and drive. I wanted a smaller SUV and being a Hyundai loyalist, I bought a used 2017 Tucson. The exterior, interior (leather) are great - unfortunately, the acceleration is TERRIBLE! If I could buy another small SUV, I would. I have to give myself plenty of room getting onto a freeway and making turns, very annoying and kind of scary. Going uphill from a stop, very slow, even with the gas pedal pushed down. Just disappointed in Hyundai for knowing about the slow acceleration and still making the car.…
